Meet Ruger, the brave little Yorkshire Terrier who stole our hearts the moment we rescued him. Before we took him, he spent his early years outside, all alone, and without the love and care he deserved. But fate had other plans for this little fighter, and we were lucky enough to be the ones to give him a second chance.

From the moment Ruger came home with us, we became his people and he became one of our fur-babies. We couldn't resist his charm and were more than happy to give him all the love he had missed out on for so long.

Now, Ruger is the happiest, most content little guy you could ever hope to meet and his loyalty is second to none. He spends his days lounging on the couch or in the sun, playing with his toys, and acting as the "fun police" to the other dogs when they get a little too excited. Every time he looks up at us with his big, bright eyes, we know we made the right decision by giving him a second chance at life. Ruger may have been rescued but, in many ways, he rescued us right back by reminding us of the joy and love that can be found in even the smallest of creatures.

Our Ruger may not have won fancy ribbons, but HE WAS VOTED BOISE STATE'S CUTEST PET for 2022!
